The Sarge 95s - mixing the versatility of all mountain skis with the playful and jibby nature of park skis. They can handle anything - from railing groomers to slashing crud to heavy days in the park. The 95 mm waist offers confidence in mixed conditions and the early-rise rockered tip will keep you on top of the light stuff.

Carbon fiber and triaxial fiberglass on both sides of the poppy yet supportive ash hardwood core give you a smooth and energetic ride. Full-height UHMW sidewalls are bombproof and look good at the same time. Extra reinforcement for binding retention, additional tip/tail rubber, and heat-treated 2.2 mm edges make the Sarge 95s the ideal ski for taking a beating.

Need a pair of skis that can make park laps all morning, slash through mixed conditions in the afternoon, and shred groomers the next day? The Sarge 95s are way more than just park skis; they’re the new-school all mountain jib skis you've been looking for.

New for 2021: The Sarge 95s feature a softer, more playful flex as well as slightly increased tip rocker length and minimal camber underfoot.

      • Early Rise Tip Rocker and Full Twin Tail whip around as fast as you can move 'em without dragging you down.
      • Ash Hardwood Core gives you a smooth and stable, yet energetic ride with endless pop.
      • Full-Height UHMW Sidewalls bonded with 8 layers of rubber are bombproof.
      • Camber + Camber Pockets underfoot provide edge grip on hard snow even when you've worn them down.

Do you offer quantity discounts for custom skis?

Yes! We waive the custom artwork fees for orders over 5 pair (same ski, same length). Contact us for further discounts on orders over 10 pair.

I don't have my graphics ready, can I still order order now?

Yes, we will put your skis into production when you send us your artwork. Feel free to order ahead of time.

I would like a custom illustration or full custom artwork for my graphic, can you do that?

We can set you up with either our graphic designer or send print specs to your preferred artist/designer. The art cost for this starts at $200 and increases based on complexity.

What colors will my ski base be?

They will be the the standard base colors/graphics from the stock version of your ski model. For example - the Ahmeek 105s have one ski black with "blue Shaggy's" letters and one ski blue with black "Shaggy's" letters - so any customized Ahmeek 105 will have that corresponding base. Depending on stock levels, we may be able to do an all black base with different color "Shaggy's" letters - call us at (231)459-4323 to inquire.

          Ski Construction

          Core

Laminated Ash Hardwood: Long grain premium White Ash is hand selected and cut into full length strips. Strips are individually flex indexed and laminated together symmetrically. Each laminated core is CNC milled to a precise thickness profile developed for each length.

Here's a basic chart to get you started:

          Ski Sizing Chart

Sizing skis is a little bit of an art and a little bit of a science. There are numerous factors that all affect the optimal ski length for you.

A few of the factors are:

          • Skier size and weight
          • Skier ability (experts size up, beginners size down)
          • Type of terrain you like
          • Where you normally ski
          • Current ski size

The list could go on and on, but if you need help with the decision, always feel free to call us at 231.459.4323, live chat, or email us!

What snow conditions are they made for?

Sarge 95 - Park Skis, Jib Skis, Soft All mountain skis

          Are they right for me?
They're right for you if you want a playful all mountain ski that is solid enough for a day of charging all terrain, but just as at home in the park. You might want to spend a day on rails and jumps, then hit the trees. Or, you enjoy a softer flexing all mountain ski with a modern close-to-center mounting position and a full twin tail.

          What length should I get?
The Sarge 95s have an early rise rockered tip and a full twin tail. If you are between lengths, size up for a more stable ride. Check out our size chart in the previous tab for more info.

          What bindings should I get?
You can use any binding on the Sarge 95s as long as the brake width is at least 95mm wide. We run Marker Griffon bindings on our demo skis. Visit your local ski shop for bindings and mounting.

          What can I customize?

          What are Camber Pockets?
Camber Pockets are additional small sections of camber (about 4 in long and 0.030" tall) molded into the overall camber of the ski in front of and behind your midsole position. They increase contact pressure to improve grip on hardpack and ice. [add graphic]

          Are they tuned and waxed?
Skis come tuned with a 1° base edge bevel and a 3° side edge bevel and a slight tip/tail detune. The skis are waxed with a universal temperature wax to get you going.

          The Rundown

Ride Notes: Playful and fun yet stable for blasting though crud and chunder. The early rise in tip and minimal camber underfoot offer great maneuverability. The camber pockets grip the hardpack even when your edges are worn down.

Design Needs:Playful soft flex in the tips/tails - rock solid underfoot - stable on everything from ice to minimal powder

Purpose: Build a playful jib ski that can be used both all over the mountain as well as in the park. It needs to be perfect for people looking to blast off the groomed runs, hit jumps, stumps, and crush bumps.

More than just a park ski

I work in Telluride as a ski instructor and the sarge started out as my free style ski and turned into my daily ride. Most fun ski I’ve ever experienced. I’ve ripped this from the park to groomers to 8-12 inches of fresh champagne pow and they do not disappoint. Hard to find a park ski with the perfect flex and pop that I can still carve when the terrain calls for it.

          Versatile freeski

I'm 52 and if I had any park days, they're behind me. I purchased the Sarge95 this winter after skiing a K2 Shreditor 102 for the last two seasons. I was riding the K2s as a means to get off-trail and to enjoy freeskiing a bit more, but with my weight at 165# and with 102 mm underfoot, they didn't do very well on hardpack. After talking about parameters with Jeff we arrived at the Sarge95. Well, this season I wasn't able to do any backcountry, but have skied more glades then ever before. Add to that the crazy variable winter we've had here and the Sarge95s have handled about everything I've thrown at them, from icy hardpack to powder days. I'd recommend the Sarge95 to not just park users, but to anyone with a lighter weight that gets off-trail and wants a playful and versatile ski.

          Do it all kinda ski.

The 'Sarge turns the whole mountain into your terrain park. If you love skiing the whole mountain, and also like laps in the park, this is the ski for you!

Its directional profile and solid flex underfoot makes for stable GS- style turns on hard pack. Combine this with the innovative camber pockets located in-front and behind your boot contact point and you'll keep good grip, even after weeks hitting rails. Pro tip: keep these camber pockets sharp while de-tuning underfoot for a ski that won't catch on rails but still hooks up on icy groomers. The tip and tail of this ski are a lot softer than the mid-section which keeps them playful and really good for butters and presses, while keeping the backbone and stability needed for big jumps and going fast. The recommended mounting point is 2cm back from dead center, and puts you right on the middle of the effective edge when taking the directional rocker into consideration. This is where mine are mounted for primarily park riding!

As an ambassador for Shaggy's I've helped test a lot of different construction techniques and in the past a lot of those techniques didn't hold up to hard park riding. Durability is a huge priority for a ski that is going to spend as much time grinding steel rails as sliding on snow. I've been on my 'Sarges since last December hitting street spots, riding park, bombed out spring snow (mostly rocks), I even skied down a couple sand dunes with them. They are a little beat up, but after 100+ days that pair is still my daily driver!

          Best Skis I have owned!

The Sarge 95 is hands down the best ski I have ever owned. Living in Vermont I need something that is good on groomers, ice, and on occasion 6"-12" of fresh pow and these skis do great everywhere, just in this past week I have experienced all three and they put my rossi's to shame.
