                  Details

The Medora 105 is our widest women’s ski, and it’s made to take full advantage of days when the snow is soft. But it’s more than just a powder ski. The camber underfoot provides great edge hold, while the rockered tips and tails can be easily maneuvered through trees and bumps. When your day consists of chasing freshies in the morning, busting crud after lunch, and railing groomers before last chair, the Medora 105 fits the bill perfectly.

                  Specs

                  Features

                  • Tip rocker maximizes flotation in powder and busts through crud.
                  • Full twintip tail allows the Medora 105 to maneuver easily in the tightest trees.
                  • Camber Pockets molded within the overall camber triple the turn initiation contact points for maximum edge grip on hardpack.
                  • Hybrid MidLight construction combines ash and poplar hardwoods with carbon fiber and lightweight triaxial fiberglass for weight reduction without sacrificing pop and energy.
                  • Balanced flex allows skiers to carve groomers, yet have enough flex in the tip and tail to remain playful across the mountain and float through powder.
                  • Rounded mini-cap top edge with full-height UHMW sidewalls are bombproof and provide a sleek look.

                  Build Notes

Ride Notes: Super fun and versatile ski for powder days, choppy crud, and soft groomers - my go-to skis. Great for medium to large radius turns but move around quick in the trees.

Design Needs: Float in fresh powder - quickly maneuver through trees and narrow areas - carve on groomers.

Purpose: Make a women's powder ski that is just as strong on groomers and in crud as it is floating through champagne powder.

                  Common Questions

                  What length should I get?

The Medora 105 has a rockered tip and a full twin tail. If you are between lengths, size up for a more stable ride, size down for more maneuverability. Check out our size chart for more info.

                  What bindings should I get?

You can use any binding on the Medora 105 as long as the brake width is at least 105 mm wide. We run Marker Squire bindings on our demo skis. Visit your local ski shop for bindings and mounting.

                  Are they tuned and waxed?

Skis come tuned with a 1° base edge bevel and a 2° side edge bevel and a slight tip/tail detune. The skis are waxed with a universal temperature wax to get you going.

Ride or die! Does it all

My first pair (of 3) Shaggy's & probably my favorite. I actually got these in a carbon fiber core to offset the heavy AT bindings setup I have on them. I've rode these 5 seasons now. I primarily ski in the Upper Penninsula but they have also been out west. I feel I can face & take on anything with these, truly my ride or die. These are a powerful ski & therefore are not meant for a beginner. BUT I took these out west they will power through EVERYTHING with ease. From any & all variations of powders while also preforming phenomenally in groomers. Very stable underfoot with a wider turning radius but easily controlled. They're not my everyday whip, because not everyday calls for these. But I know that they'll always be a fun, confident ride at my skiing ability & pulling a toboggan. Side note, they also survived an accident (100% my fault) that resulted in a broken leg. The skis were fine.

                  Best Skis Ever!

The “do it all” ski! I can take these anywhere and know I will have a fun day no matter the conditions. They are great at busting through the crud, keeping you afloat in the pow, and putting a smile on your face with every quick engaging turn on those groomer days! These skis go with me to Boyne Mountain, Mt. Bohemia, backcountry skiing in MI & Canada, and vacation days out West (Alaska and CO, so far). I highly recommend these skis to every intermediate to advance lady out there looking for a wider, do it all ski. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: My husband is a co-owner of Shaggy's, but honestly, I think these are the best skis ever!

                  Love these skis!

I've skid these ladies in Michigan, Montana and Colorado and they are amazing in all conditions. I even race on them in my beer league! Wide underfoot, yet easy to turn and very responsive! I highly recommend these skis to friends and strangers all the time. Get a pair! You won't be disappointed!

                  I ride a 168; I'm 5'3 and there isn't much I won't try on the Madoras

                  WOW!!

The Medoras are my go to ski for all conditions and they are particularly fun in powder and crud. Confidence inspiring, I skied some steep slopes in both Michigan and Alaska on my Medoras and they felt amazing. They hold an edge on corduroy and I can't imagine skiing deep snow without them. Awesome skis!
