Yes! We waive the custom artwork fees for orders over 5 pair (same ski, same length). Contact us for further discounts on orders over 10 pair.
I don't have my graphics ready, can I still order order now?
Yes, we will put your skis into production when you send us your artwork. Feel free to order ahead of time.
I would like a custom illustration or full custom artwork for my graphic, can you do that?
We can set you up with either our graphic designer or send print specs to your preferred artist/designer. The art cost for this starts at $200 and increases based on complexity.
What colors will my ski base be?
They will be the the standard base colors/graphics from the stock version of your ski model. Blog Post About How to Size and Pick Skis
Sizing skis is a little bit of an art and a little bit of a science. There are numerous factors that all effect the optimal ski length for you.
A few of the factors are:
What snow conditions are they made for?
Are they right for me?
They're right for you if you're looking for a powerful yet nimble all mountain ski that performs well in all conditions. You enjoy cruising on groomers, but are looking to explore new terrain and want to ski it confidently. You like a more traditional mounting position but still appreciate a modern semi twin tail. You may have enjoyed a race ski, but you're looking to take that performance all over the slopes.
What length should I get?
The Belle 95s have slight early rise tip rocker and a partial rise tail. If you are between lengths, size up for stability or size down for maneuverability.
What bindings should I get?
You can use any binding on the Belle 95s as long as the brake width is at least 95mm wide. We run Marker Squire bindings on our women's demo skis. Visit your local ski shop for bindings and mounting.
What can I customize?
Graphics: Full custom topsheet graphics
Construction: Get a consultation
What are Camber Pockets?
Camber Pockets are additional small sections of camber (about 4 in long and 0.030" tall) molded into the overall camber of the ski in front of and behind your midsole position. They increase contact pressure to improve grip on hardpack and ice. [add graphic]
Are they tuned and waxed?
Skis come tuned with a 1° base edge bevel and a 3° side edge bevel and a slight tip/tail detune. The skis are waxed with a universal temperature wax to get you going.
Ride Notes: Confidence inspiring grip on the groomers and ice, but versatile enough to take on morning powder. Easily breaks through the variable crud.
Design Needs: Strong grip on hardpack - quick edge-to-edge and stable - versatility in all snow types
Purpose: Build a rock solid women's all mountain ski that can be used in any condition.

Our standard layup construction includes a select cut Ash hardwood core wrapped with triaxial fiberglass and carbon fiber stringers under the core. The carbon stringers are used to increase pop and rebound energy in the ski, while complementing the predictable and torsionally rigid feel of the triaxial fiberglass.
The standard layup is best suited for the majority of skiers, it blends the traditional hardwood core with an energetic feel. Skis utilizing this construction perform virtually the same as their Pure Carbon counterpart. Best for all mountain skiing with limited backcountry touring.
This method of construction incorporates a sheet of nanoMAG® magnesium into our Standard Layup that significantly reduces vibration and chatter in the nastiest conditions. The damping of the material increases edge hold and creates an exceptionally smooth ride.
The nanoMAG® Damping System is suited for the skier looking for the ultimate in smooth skiing, especially when making high speed turns. This option maximizes grip on ice. Two words to describe this option are "Smooth and Stable". This will slightly reduce liveliness (vs. Standard or Pure Carbon) but gives you that Cadillac Ride!
We press your digital design into a plastic topsheet using the highest quality sublimation inks. During this process the ink actually becomes a gas and permeates into the plastic, actually becoming part of the plastic.

Our Pure Carbon construction includes an ultra lightweight biaxial Carbon Fiber (+-45 deg. orientation) coupled with a slightly heavier unidirectional Carbon Fiber. A full Carbon model allows for an exceptionally lightweight and responsive ski. The exceptionally high strength and stiffness of the Carbon Fiber allows us to use a lightweight Poplar wood core, that is Select Cut in Northern Michigan. For maximum binding screw retention, we mill out the core and place an extra retention plate in the binding area. Average weight savings versus their standard counterpart is 1.6 - 1.8 LB/Pair.
The Pure Carbon layup is best suited for the skier looking to often use the ski for backcountry touring where the weight savings allows for more climbing, or someone looking for the lightest ski. Many skiers have reported back that they are able to increase their on-snow time when the conditions are rough, primarily due to reduced muscle fatigue. Skis utilizing this construction perform virtually the same as their standard counterpart, however have a significant weight savings.
*Please note that due to the opacity of Carbon Fiber, skis with this construction will not have "clear windows" into the core as on some models. The windows will instead show the carbon fiber on top of the wood core. Alternatively, and based on availability you may specify to have your graphic printed on a lightweight matte finish white material. Ski graphics with "windows" to see the core, will be white instead.

The wood cores are the "hearts" of your skis. At Shaggy's we start out with select cut Northern Michigan hardwood, primarily ash and poplar. Ash is an exceptionally snappy and responsive wood with a very high stiffness for it's density. The long grain of the wood, developed through our bitter cold winters and warm summers, gives our cores an unmatched longevity! Poplar is lighter and softer than ash, and the cores of most models combine both woods in order to provide a great balance of stiffness and playfulness. Aspen is a lightweight option that is slightly stiffer and more lively than poplar yet still noticeably softer and lighter than ash. We proudly source our hardwood from Matelski Lumber, located right down the street in Boyne Falls, Michigan.
We utilize a triaxial fiberglass in our standard models to wrap the core and provide both torsional and longitudinal stiffness. The fiberglass is oriented in three directions, the first parallel to the length of the ski, while the second and third orientations run +- 45 degrees to the first. We also use some of the best carbon fiber in the industry in our skis. When used to complement the fiberglass, a uni-directional carbon fiber strip is placed underneath the core, which allows us to reduce the core thickness and reduce weight while adding responsiveness. When used as the exclusive composite (full carbon layup) in a model, we use an ultra-lightweight biaxial carbon fiber (+-45 degree orientation) coupled with a slightly heavier uni-directional carbon fiber. A full carbon model allows for an exceptionally lightweight, durable, and responsive ski.
Impact-resistant UHMW-PE plastic surrounds our cores and is above our edges to absorb impacts and provide smooth, stable edge hold in all snow types. We place rubber damping strips between our edges, fiberglass, and sidewalls to reduce vibration propagation and to create a flexible shear bonding layer between dissimilar materials for ultimate durability.

Our MidLight Construction combines a laminated Ash and Poplar hardwood core wrapped with a lighter Triaxial Fiberglass and twice the unidirectional Carbon Fiber of the standard construction. This construction style reduces the weight of the ski by ~1/2 lb/pair while maintaining all the energetic characteristics of our Standard Ash construction. With the MidLight construction, you get a ski that's on the lighter side of the spectrum, but is rock solid when it comes to charging through nasty variable snow.
This is best suited for someone who will be exploring all parts of the mountain and likely doing a fair amount of off-piste skiing where maneuvering a lighter ski is easier. It is also great for a person looking for a daily driver ski that can also be used for backcountry touring.
