Ash/Poplar Core
nanoMAG® Damping System
143-100-124
17.5m @ 180cm
Early Rise Rocker/Camber
Flat Tail
Looking for powerful, hard-charging skis that dominate groomers, rip on hardpack, and float over champagne powder? The Brockway 100s are just what you’re after. Their quick turning radius makes short-to-medium turns energetic, but when you want to open things up, the stiff flex keeps them smooth and stable.
Prepare to be blown away by the edge hold of these rocket ships. Worried about that late-day crud? Don’t be - the Brockway 100s slice through it like a hot knife through butter. And they do all this while still being able to glide through the powder.
Now standard across our Brockway lineup, the exclusive nanoMAG Damping System reduces vibration and chatter on ice without sacrificing the lively feel you’re looking for.
Subtle camber pockets molded within the overall camber triple the turn initiation contact points for maximum edge grip. The early rise rocker tip profile helps the ski float through soft snow and ease into any turn shape. Once the edge is initiated, the fully cambered mid-body engages your edge and maximizes stability.
New for 2021: Quicker and more responsive sidecut, nanoMAG is now standard, integrated tail bumper for increased durability. The Brockway 90 and Brockway 100 have replaced the Brockway 95.
- Early Rise Tip Rocker maximizes flotation in powder and busts through crud.
- Ash/Poplar Hardwood Core gives you a smooth and stable, yet energetic ride.
- Full-Height UHMW Sidewalls bonded with 8 layers of rubber are bombproof.
- nanoMAG® Damping System construction makes chatter on ice a thing of the past.

Construction

Core
Laminated Ash/Poplar Hardwood: Long grain premium White Ash and Tulip Poplar is hand selected and cut into full length strips. Strips are individually flex indexed and laminated together symmetrically. Each laminated core is CNC milled to a precise thickness profile developed for each model and length.
nanoMAG® Damping System
nanoMAG® magnesium sheets are inlaid into the Ash hardwood cores. The unique characteristic of this material is its ability to dissipate mechanical energy into heat, with increased capacity as the material is moved faster. This unique combination produces the most stable, yet lively 90 mm waist ski on the market. The faster you ski, the more stable they get!
Composites
Unidirectional Carbon Fiber strips above and beneath the core, Triaxial Fiberglass above and beneath the core, Fiberglass binding mat underfoot. Rubber bonding strips placed along edges, sidewalls, and ends for rock solid bonding.
Sidewall
Full height UHMW - the same raw material as your base, bombproof and double chamfered for reduced swingweight. A rounded mini-cap top edge rolls over the sidewall to protect your topsheets.
Base + Edge
1.4 mm CNC Knife Cut 4001 Race Grade Durasurf sintered UHMW. 2.2 mm over-sized and heat treated edges take a beating.

Blog Post About How to Size and Select Skis
Here's a basic chart to get you started:
Sizing skis is a little bit of an art and a little bit of a science. There are numerous factors that all affect the optimal ski length for you.
A few of the factors are:
- Skier size and weight
- Skier ability (experts size up, beginners size down)
- Type of terrain you like
- Where you normally ski
- Current ski size
The list could go on and on, but if you need help with the decision, always feel free to call us at 231.459.4323, live chat, or email us!
What snow conditions are they made for?
Are they right for me?
You want to float through powder and smash through crud but still want to rocket down groomers when it hasn’t snowed recently. There are softer, more playful options in this waist width out there, but you like a ski that doesn’t lack horsepower under the hood. The more traditional mounting position lets you drive the ski without feeling too centered.
What length should I get?
The Brockway 100s have early rise tip rocker and a stiff flex. If you are between lengths, size up for stability at speed or size down for quicker turns.
What bindings should I get?
You can use any binding on the Brockway 100s as long as the brake width is at least 100mm wide. We run Marker Griffon bindings on our demo skis. Visit your local ski shop for bindings and mounting.

What are Camber Pockets?
Camber Pockets are additional small sections of camber (about 4 in long and 0.030" tall) molded into the overall camber of the ski in front of and behind your midsole position. They increase contact pressure to improve grip on hardpack and ice.
Are they tuned and waxed?
Skis come tuned with a 1° base edge bevel and a 3° side edge bevel and a slight tip/tail detune. The skis are waxed with a universal temperature wax to get you going.
The Rundown
Ride Notes: Stiff, powerful, precise, and aggressive. Haven't found a speed limit, can take anything I put in and the edge hold is unwavering.
Design Needs: Stiff flex - snappy/energetic rebound - damp/smooth on hardpack - float in powder - no speed limit
Purpose: Make an all mountain ski that can be driven like a race ski, but excel in a wide variety of conditions. Radius should split the difference between a slalom and GS ski. Give the ski enough backbone so everything you put in, you get out - make them a ski to be driven!

Why You'll Love Them
- Whether the conditions are good or bad, the edge grip of the Brockway 100s won't waiver.
- The powerful flex gives back as much energy as you can put into them.
- The 100 mm waist width will float in the powder and smash the chop, yet is nimble enough to rail fast turns on hardpack.
- Camber pockets molded into the overall camber maximize edge hold on hardpack.
- nanoMAG® Damping construction makes chatter on ice a thing of the past.
