Ski Factory Update - 9/14/21 - Handling Raw Material Supply Chain Disruptions...

As you are probably aware, the world as a whole is experiencing major supply chain disruptions, and we are certainly not immune to these issues at Shaggy’s.

For the last year and a half, we’ve been able to keep up a steady supply of raw materials to build your skis, but it gets more expensive and challenging every day.

We’re seeing price increases all over the board, from rough lumber (for cores) to base material and edges, to name a few. As of now, we are maintaining our prices (heads up: price increases seem inevitable in the future).

Our ask of you is to please plan ahead and order your skis as early as possible to ensure you receive them before the snow flies! We are currently 6-8 weeks out on new builds and bulking up on raw materials.

We are trying our best to keep up with current orders and handle these issues, but we’d hate to see you waiting for your new skis as the snow is flying!

If you’re looking for a pair immediately, check out our standard 2022 models, some of which have limited stock ready to ship. Link: https://www.skishaggys.com/collections/2021-2022-skis

We also have a few pair of pre-built custom skis that are in stock and ready to ship, we try to add a few pre-built custom pair to this collection weekly. Link: https://www.skishaggys.com/collections/pre-built-custom-skis

All this said, we are incredibly grateful to have an amazing small team of ski builders that are truly passionate about what they do and they make it all possible!

We want to be the ones you come to build the skis of your dreams, so if you have any questions or concerns with timing, please feel free to give us a call at 231-459-4323 or email mail@skishaggys.com.
