2026 Ahmeek 85

Last season was my first year skiing Shaggys skis. I have been skiing for 2 and a half years. I took to it right away, and had a blast doing it . My first skis were Volkl Deacons. I learned to ski on them. I quickly out grew them. Then I heard about Shaggys. A Michigan company. Being from Michigan I wanted to support the economy of the state. People told me I wouldn't like their skis ,because they're not geared towards beginners. Plus you won't be able to learn to carve with them. Being relatively new to skiing, I didn't know what to expect. I purchased them during the summer sale, and just couldn't wait for winter. When the time came,and it started snowing. I was nervous from what everyone was telling me. Then I took them out for the first time. At first they felt different from what I had previously. After the 3rd time down, I loved them . This ski is very responsive and turns very easy, as for carving with them . I can tip these right up on the edges, and carve effortlessly. Keep doing what you do to the crew at Shaggys. Because I don't see myself skiing on anything else

This is my first pair of Shaggys! I bought them during the summer sale. I am pretty new to skiing. I started 2 and half years ago, To spend quality time with my daughter who rides a snowboard. I knew that snowboarding wasn't for me. I took ski lessons, and was absolutely hooked! I learned pretty quick, and went from rentals to buying all new equipment. My first skis were Volkl deacons, and I really liked them, but out grew them very quickly. I learned about Shaggys from watching a Mount Bohemia YouTube video of the Shaggys family vacation, and knew right then I had to own some Shaggys skis. I went to Caberfae on a demo day, and skied the Ahmeek 95s. I liked them, but I needed something a little narrower in the waist to turn easier, and get up on the edges. I love to put my shins right in the tongues of my boots, and go! ,and get aggressive. I haven't been on my new skis yet, because it is summer, but from what I'm seeing the attention to detail, and craftsmanship are something you won't find on mass produced brand name skis. Hurry up winter!
