Meet the Quincy 84.

This ski started life as the next evolution of the Brockway line, spent most of last season sneaking around in our demo fleet, and came back with one very clear message from skiers:

Build this thing.

So we are.

The Quincy 84 is a precision-built frontside ripper with an 84 mm waist, a 14.5 m turning radius at 174 cm, and a tip shape that refuses to behave like a normal carving ski. On paper, the sidecut measures 131-84-114, but the tip keeps growing past the end of the sidecut all the way out to 137 mm. Translation? It pulls into turns with authority, but still has that big-shovel confidence when the snow gets pushed around, chopped up, or just plain weird.

This is not a watered-down all-mountain ski. This is a hardpack weapon.

The Quincy 84 is made for skiers who want to carve hard, trust their edges, and feel energy coming out of every turn. Ice, boilerplate, groomers, early morning corduroy, scraped-off Midwest hardpack, firm Eastern snow, whatever you want to call it, this ski was built to bite into it and keep moving.

It’s quick edge-to-edge. It’s damp without feeling dead. It’s powerful without being punishing. And when you stand on it, it rewards you with that addictive, locked-in, high-G turn shape that makes you want to ride the chairlift back up and do the exact same run again, only faster.

We’re launching the Quincy 84 as a pre-release ski, which means if you order it during the Summer Pre-Sale, we’ll build you a pair. But this may never become a full stock model. It may never live in the regular lineup. It may just be one of those skis people talk about later and say, “I should’ve grabbed a pair when I had the chance.”

Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

And now on to the technical jargon...

  • 84 mm waist for fast edge changes and true frontside performance.
  • 131-84-114 sidecut with a tip that continues growing to 137 mm for extra confidence and smooth turn entry.
  • 14.5 m turning radius at 174 cm for tight, energetic, carve-all-day turn shapes.
  • Pro-Carbon construction with intermediate modulus unidirectional and biaxial carbon fiber for power, precision, and torsional stiffness.
  • nanoMAG Damping System to reduce chatter and vibration on hardpack and ice.
  • Ash/poplar wood core for a strong blend of snap, stability, and liveliness.
  • Traditional camber underfoot for immediate edge grip and strong rebound out of the turn.
  • Built for hard snow, groomers, ice, and frontside ripping.

Quincy 84 vs Fun Carver 88

The Fun Carver 88 is the wild, playful, powder-inspired oddball with a huge rockered shovel and a looser, more versatile feel. The Quincy 84 is narrower, quicker edge-to-edge, more locked-in on firm snow, and built to carve trenches into ice, corduroy, and scraped-off hardpack.
