Bohemia or Bust - The Woodshop Chronicles
Tomorrow we leave for the U.P. and Shaggy's Family Vacation at Mount Bohemia. I've been lucky enough to ski quite a bit out west; to ski some of the great places in the Rockies for people who like steeps, places like Arapahoe Basin, Taos, Silverton, Telluride, and Jackson Hole to name a few. But even after all those bigger mountains, Bohemia still holds a special appeal, as it does for most who know it.
Leading up to the trip , there has been a buzz of activity at the shop, cranking out as many pairs as we can before leaving, working on model updates, and making some super secret fun skis, but underneath all of that is a sense of anticipation and excitement. Every morning, when take a few minutes to sit down and drink coffee, the topic is all Bohemia. It's still a place where it really is all about the skiing. We hope to see you there.
